Public Holiday

It was the Queen's Birthday holiday here yesterday, which means... no post!

I am already jealous of those countries that get post on Saturdays. Why does Australia Post only deliver Monday to Friday? How slack!

I wrote to Lynley yesterday so will get that mailed today, and am crossing my fingers and toes that the postie leaves something nice in my letterbox today. :-)

  3. I get post on a Saturday, but usually it's boring stuff. I think the universe knows I need nice mail during the week for good cheer!x

  4. No post on a Saturday? Wow, that's nuts! I don't know how that actually works to the advantage of any postal system, because on the Monday after a weekend of no deliveries, they must be hammered with the backlog? Oh well, I can't really say anything. I live on a tiny island with one delivery a day (Mon-Sat) but if the weather is dodgy, we don't get any deliveries at all! LOL. Loving the blog by the way. Don't remember how I stumbled upon it, but I really like it. Might even drop you a snailer sometime! Keep up the good work, Bex x

  5. A tiny island where weather sometimes interferes with mail delivery? I'm intrigued! Would love to hear from you via the post. :)
