This was just some of the mail I received today.
This included six postcrossing poscards. SIX! In one day! It's kind of bizarre that they were sent on different days from different countries - Taiwan, South Korea, US, Finland, Germany and Malaysia - and they all landed in my little letterbox in this quiet little town on the same day. I love these kinds of random coincedences.
Check out the pretty stamp that was on the postcard from Finland:
You can't really tell in the pic but that fantastic creature has glitter on her wings. I think I want to move to Finland, just for the stamps.
Love from Kaz
No idea why - maybe something to do with international mail processing? - but I often get quite a few postcrossing cards on Tuesdays.
ReplyDeleteReally? Bizarre! This is something I am going to track. I find I am suddenly intrigued by the inner workings of international mail processing.
ReplyDeleteOddly, I received a 'real' postcard today from friends who are currently travelling around Europe. Now I wonder why that one didn't arrive yesterday? Do they just hoard up the postcrossing postcards for Tuesdays? Fascinating.
That stamp is gorgeous! I have had a similar experience with postcrossing. I might go weeks with no postcards and then on one day get 3-4, very odd.
ReplyDeleteI smell a conspiracy...
